From its inception in 1983, Busy Bees grew rapidly, making multiple successful UK acquisitions under the leadership of its original founders.
In 2013, the business entered a new growth phase when the private equity arm of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP) took a majority holding.
That kickstarted Busy Bees' international expansion, which started with the acquisition of Singapore and Malaysia-based provider Knowledge Universe in 2014.
Since then, Busy Bees has grown to become one of the world's largest childcare providers.
With around 1,000 centres in 10 countries, Busy Bees provides the highest-quality education and care for around 100,000 children.
Our leadership team puts children's learning and development at the heart of everything we do, driving best practice and sustained global growth.
