Busy Bees is a Great British success story that began in Staffordshire, UK when three families began the search for the right childcare centre to provide their children with the best start in life.
Marg and Peter Randles, Lynn and John Woodward and David and Sally Thackray, were unable to find a childcare provider that offered everything they were looking for: nurturing care, stimulating environments, and lots of opportunities for play, interaction and development.
So, they took matters into their own hands and opened the first Busy Bees childcare centre, called The Rocklands.
They built a passionate team with great enthusiasm for their work and a never-ending commitment to the children they cared for.
The Rocklands created a blueprint for every Busy Bees nursery that followed; a place where every child's emotional needs are met, their interests nurtured, and their individuality respected - and parents loved it too.
Today, Busy Bees is one of the world's largest childcare providers, but it still represents the same ideals and values that made that first venture so special; care, quality, service and value.
