Our Social Vision
We're committed to giving every child the best start in life, supporting our local communities, attracting and retaining the best talent and ensuring our global supply chain is ethical.
We now have 50% female representation in our executive leadership team and were listed in the top twenty of the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers in the UK in 2023.
We support our teams in their work to have a positive social impact in all our territories, from raising money to support Child Bereavement UK and collecting more than 2,500 sets of pyjamas for children facing adversity in the US, to providing free childcare and education to 157 disadvantaged families in Singapore.
In 2022, we created initiatives to champion the empowerment and economic independence of women, offering flexible working and benefits to support our teams and help our working mothers balance their home and work lives.
To ensure we keep making a positive contribution socially, we're committed to the following five pillars:
- Delivering outstanding early-years education
- Helping families in crisis by supporting charities and reinforcing our position as a force for good in communities
- Building and supporting our diverse and inclusive workforce
- Empowering women by enabling their economic participation, making childcare affordable and lobbying for political change
- Working with like-minded suppliers to drive positive impact across our supply chain

Through this programme, we are helping to provide free childcare and education to 157 disadvantaged families in Singapore.
Case Study
At Busy Bees we believe it is vital to include sustainability in the curriculum to engage children in questioning and understanding the natural world around them and develop an awareness of their responsibility to protect the planet and each other.
Topics covered in lessons include single use plastics, biodiversity, energy, litter, global citizenship, healthy living, climate change, marine and coast, transport, waste and water. We celebrate Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).
We also promote outdoor learning, because time spent in nature allows children to form connections with the environment as well as think about their place within the world.
